My style is active, directive and strength based allowing individuals and couples to feel supported and comfortable in a private safe environment.
The world is constantly evolving and it can be hard to navigate these life transitions and stress; especially for queer people and people of color. My goal is to provide services to those that struggle with barriers of acute trauma, communication relationship issues, and life transitions. I utilize a unique systemic approach working with individuals, couples, and gay men. I enjoy guiding and exploring solutions at a client centered pace using accountability for change.
My ability to be culturally sensitive allows others to express themselves openly without judgement. I have been extensively trained in couples’ issues and an evidence-based form of trauma therapy for adults called A.R.T and Brainspotting. We can typically reduce emotional responses and triggers for acute stress and PTSD symptoms within 3 – 5 sessions.
I value transparency to build stronger foundations in communication, understanding, and healing. My style is directive and strength based allowing individuals and couples to feel supported through growth in a comfortable private safe environment.
