Every journey begins somewhere. Let’s take the first step together.
My name is Naomi Madison Smith, and I am an aspiring Marriage and Family Therapist currently completing my graduate training at Arizona State University. I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they gain insight, build emotional regulation skills, and work toward meaningful personal and relational change. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, collaborative, and supportive.
I view therapy as a partnership and work with clients to find approaches that fit their unique needs and goals. My work focuses on strengthening communication, building coping skills, and fostering resilience, while meeting clients where they are in the process.
My professional background has shaped how I show up clinically. As a Registered Behavioral Technician with nBloom Autism, I supported communication, social, and problem-solving skill development through structured interventions. My experience in the District Attorney’s Office strengthened my ability to navigate high-stress environments, maintain confidentiality, and provide clear, thoughtful support. Additionally, my work as a victim advocate with Project Sister involved crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with medical and legal professionals, which deepened my commitment to compassionate, client-centered work.
I look forward to working with my clients with the goal of promoting healing, growth, and lasting resilience.
