Therapy is the process of grieving, healing and growing from accumulated challenges and barriers!
As a clinician, my goal is to serve as a resource for my clients through the therapeutic process to promote resiliency, self-advocacy, self-determination, and self-efficacy as protective factors that enhance their confidence and quality of life. As an MSW I am trained in holistic therapeutic interventions to assess and evaluate clients decision-making capacity from a person-in-environment and family systems lens and approach.
I have over four years of experience working with youth, adults, family units, and communities living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), as well as behavioral and social and emotional challenges while navigating the child welfare system reunification process and care in group home and independent living settings. In my professional practice my goal is to utilize strengths-based and tailored approaches as well as mindfulness tactics to meet clients individualized needs where they are at in their healing journey to enhance quality of life outcomes.
